Message from the Head of School

Welcome to Friends School Mullica Hill. Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming learning community where each student is challenged to realize their individual gifts. We deliver outstanding academic preparation grounded in the Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community and equality.

We are a school of 200 students in grades pre-kindergarten through 8. Our average class size is 14 students. The intimate size of our classes combined with an advanced academic curriculum prepares our students for admission and matriculation at the finest independent and parochial high schools in our region.

Academic rigor combined with opportunities for social, creative, and ethical growth make for a complete school experience. Students discover who they are, where their strengths and interests lie, and what kind of people they intend to be, now and in the future.

Community and personal integrity are core Quaker values. At Friends School Mullica Hill, these values provide the foundation for our students to learn that they are not only mathematicians and writers, but also actors, poets, artists, athletes, musicians, public speakers, and most importantly, respectful and caring citizens and friends.

Review of the website cannot substitute for a visit to our campus, but we hope that you will nonetheless find these pages a useful introduction to our school. We encourage you to follow it with a visit.

Friends School is intimate enough so that your child is known by all, challenging enough to prepare your child for the future, and serious about insisting on caring and respectful conduct among our students. We invite you to see for yourself.

Welcome!
