Technology The goals of the Technology Program are to produce a passion for all forms of technology, expose students to an abundance of information available to them, and to teach library/technology research skills to access that information. These goals help cultivate the intellectual growth, creativity, scholarship, and social conscience of the students by providing them with a means to gain knowledge through the wealth of information that is available worldwide.
The main computer lab currently houses 19 work stations and
is located within the library for individual class technology
training as well as providing opportunities for simultaneous
and effective research of both print and electronic resources.
In addition to the main lab, each classroom has networked
computers so that students can access resources within that
particular class session.
Several laptops are available and may be borrowed by the students, faculty and staff during the school day on an as needed basis. Laptops are also used in the Extended Day Homework Room. Portable Quickpads are used for word processing by several grades.
