Friends School Mullica Hill Admissions Process
The purpose of our admissions process is to ensure a match between your child and Friends School.
To start the admissions process, please complete and return the application form and the application fee ($50).
Steps for Pre-Kindergarten (3-year-old and 4-year-old programs)
- Group playdate visit with peer group (applicants for 3-year-old program)
- Half-day classroom visit (applicants for 4-year-old program)
- Parent meeting with Director of Admissions
- Screening appointment with Director of Admissions
Steps for Kindergarten through Grade 5
- Classroom visit/teacher assessment
- Screening/testing appointment with Director of Admissions
- Copies of child’s current report card and most
recent standardized test scores (if applicable)
- Confidential Recommendation Form completed by child's current school
Steps for Middle School (Grades 6 to 8)
- Comprehensive Testing Program for the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) - selected sections administed at FSMH
- Classroom visit/teacher assessment and screening
- Interview with Middle School Coordinator
- Copies of child’s current report card and most recent standardized test scores
- Confidential Recommendation Form completed by child's current school
The final decision on admission will be made by the Director
of Admissions, the Head of School and the Principal in coordination with the appropriate classroom teacher(s) and the admissions committee.
