For Alumni
Class of 2011
Over eight hundred alumni have attended Friends School during
its first 39 years. We graduated 200 alumni from our Upper
School between 1969 and 1992, and graduated over 600 alumni
from the Middle School between 1993 and 2011. Many of our
alumni graduated from the Middle School while the Upper School
was still operating and have a special relationship to the
school having completed what is, for the time being, our highest
division. We send our 8th grade alumni off to an impressive
range of high schools wishing them the kind of successful,
fulfilling lives that so many of our alumni have had.
There remains a great deal of interest among our alumni to
re-open the Upper School program to once again make Friends
a pre-K through 12th grade school. Our focus on the early
childhood, Lower School and Middle School programs over the
past 17 years has created a strong foundation upon which to
build the second incarnation of the Upper School. However,
the current school depends to a large extent on our alumni
to provide the energy, passion and resources to help us expand
into the future.
