Alumni Council
While our alumni have always organized themselves, sometimes
with the help of the school, we have only had a formally organized
Alumni Council for the past three years. Heading up the Alumni
Council is Cori McFadden ‘89 who completed the middle
school program. Cori brings a great deal of energy to this
new organization, which meets regularly to plan alumni events
and strategize ways to build the alumni community.
The Alumni Association has received a considerable boost
with participation of Teacher Hanshi Deshbandhu and the return
of Bonnie Shinkle Clark ’89, a high school graduate,
to the school. Teacher Hanshi has been the most consistent
connector between the school and alumni, and continues to
induct graduates into their new roles as school alumni. Bonnie
began last year as the Development Associate and is now the
Director of Admissions. Bonnie has added her passion for linking
alumni with the current school program and will continue to
serve on the Alumni Council.
