What do you want for your child?

The L. Family-TrevorThe decision of where to send our children to school was very important to us. Like any parents, we wanted to ensure that the choice we made provided them the tools and opportunities to make the most of life. We looked for a place that let them learn and grow in an environment that welcomed and encouraged while providing the appropriate guidance and boundaries - a place like home.

We examined Friends School Mullica Hill with a parent's critical eye, but soon found ourselves' taken by the consistent themes of enthusiasm, respect, and integrity among all the faculty, staff, and students. Beyond the depth and diversity of the curriculum, there was an overwhelming sense of fellowship - the kind that naturally fosters teamwork, and success. We had found what we were looking for...and more.

Take a look at Friends School, it may well be the best thing you ever do for your child. We know it has been for us.

The R. Family-MikeOne Quaker theologian, Elizabeth Watson, said that really great breakthroughs come when someone is courageous enough to question the assumptions everyone takes for granted. Recognizing at an early age that our son, Mike, had such an inquiring mind, we searched for a school where questioning was recognized as an integral part of learning. Equally important was our desire to see Mike spend his days in a place where respect for others was a way of life. We were delighted to learn that Friends School embraces this philosophy as one of its core values. Small class size and some wonderful teachers have contributed to Mike's development as a confident, independent thinker and leader. When Mike walked into Friends School nine years ago as a kindergarten student, there was no way we could have predicted how our world would change. This safe, caring community has been a positive force in our lives.
