Community Service
Dear Parents and Friends School Community,
An important aspect of our students’ education at
Friends School is their participation in service learning.
We strongly value teaching our children to extend themselves
to others, to care for the environment, to show compassion
and empathy for those in need, to be a “helper”
and a “giver”, and to make a difference in their
community and world. During the course of the school year
each grade will be involved in important service projects.
Below you will find a listing of the many projects that our
students will be involved in this year. Thank you for your
support, your encouragement, and your conversations with your
son/daughter about the projects. They will be learning valuable
life lessons.
