Students & Activities Friends School students lead very active school lives, whether in the classroom, on the playing fields, or within the community. Classroom activities include such projects as oral histories of local communities, science fairs, participation in an international research project on super-seniors (people aged 100 years and above), and field trips to environmental centers and museums.
Our Middle School offers six competitive sports programs (two each for boys and girls and two co-educational teams) over the course of the school year and we support students pursuing athletic opportunities outside of the school program.
We have an extraordinary tradition of community service and fund-raising, and have numerous student clubs engaged in community service, environmentalism, and publication (poetry and the year book), among other activities.
