Activities
FSMH student life brims with activities, from community service projects (all grades) to participating in debates on UN Day (middle school), from interviewing Japanese-American adults who lived in interment camps as children (4 th grade) to participating in peace fairs and symposiums (3 rd and 5 th grades). These experiences help our students at become morally rooted, community minded, thoughtful and articulate leaders and problem solvers.
Our Fine & Performing Arts program provides our students with the best and only program of its kind in Southern New Jersey for those who pursue musical interests. Students have access to top-notch teachers who are graduates of conservatories and universities and active in their fields. Many FSMH students have gone on to perform with the South Jersey Region Orchestra and Junior Orchestra, among other prestigious organizations.
School plays, literary clubs, science projects, class trips, and interscholastic sports build a community of students who become independent, intellectually curious, confident, and well-rounded.
