Volunteering Many parents, students, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents and other friends volunteer expert services, organizing talent, basic labor and other types of work to the school. This collective work is truly love made visible and has a tangible effect on lifting the spirit of the school and the spirits of those that work here. In one sense we are a small, down-to-earth school and in another we are a substantial enterprise with a three million dollar budget. Just as there is a gap between tuition revenue and the costs of educating our students, there is a gap between employee labor and the actual needs of running our school. It is volunteers who make up that gap to the great appreciation of the faculty and staff.
Voluntary opportunities in the development program include:
- serving on the Auction Steering Committee
- joining the Development Steering Committee
- assisting with the production of the Friendship Quilt
- participating in direct fund-raising
- providing general clerical assistance.
