Registration Tuition Payments & Refund Policies
Class tuition is due in full at the time of registration
either by mail or in person. Private lessons will not begin
until payment is made in full. A student may not attend any
classes until payment is made in full. Forms and checks will
not be accepted by any of the Fine Arts teachers. Payments
must be made in the office or by mail. A non-refundable membership
fee of $10.00 per student or $15.00 for families of two or
more children enrolled in classes and/or lessons is required.
The membership fee covers enrollment in any class or lesson
for a semester. Full tuition will be refunded only if the
Fine & Performing Arts School office is notified in writing
before the first class or lesson.

Cancellation Policy
The Friends Fine & Performing Community Arts School reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment. In instances of severe weather, the Friends Fine & Performing Community Arts School reserves the right to cancel classes and private instruction.

Attendance Policy
Instructors are required to make up only those lessons that are missed because of:
- The instructor’s absence.Our teachers, on occasion, will be absent due to professional engagements. It is the responsibility of the instructor to notify the student of any lesson cancellation and to re-schedule a make-up lesson during a time that is mutually convenient.)
- Friend School closing (due toinclement weather) It is the responsibility of the teacher to notify the student of any school closing due to inclement weather. The instructor must re-schedule a make-up lesson during a time that is mutually convenient.
- Lessons missed by a student will be made up only in the case of the student’s illness or a death in the family. All other absences will be considered un-excused (ex. After school activities, sports, vacations, traffic, etc.) Parents or students must notify the instructor as early as possible when canceling a scheduled lesson. If the instructor or the school is not notified of an absence it will be considered un-esxcused. If you must cancel a lesson and cannot reach the instructor, you should call the office (478-0885 Ex. 115) and leave a message.

PLEASE NOTE
There will be no make-up lessons for un-excused absences.
The instructor will not make up more than two excused absences
in a ten-week session.
