She has been on staff with Conservatory without Walls since 1990 and was also faculty for The New Jersey School of Music in Medford and adjunct faculty for Mullica Hill Friends Community Arts Program and Moorestown Friends School.

Elaine spent 13 years with the YMCA of Camden County. During her career, Elaine achieved certifications as an American Red Cross Instructor, a Certified Pool Operator and YMCA Faculty (e.g.Trainer of Trainers). She received awards for Outstanding Youth Development, grants for teen arts centers and was the East Field Arts & Humanities Coordinator; assisting YMCA’s from Maine to Virginia with the implementation of arts & humanities programming. She maintains her volunteer position as faculty with the YMCA of the USA training other professionals in the areas of program development, budgeting and of course, arts & humanities. She also works as an independent Non-Profit Consultant; most recently for LifeStyles Supports Inc. in Pitman, NJ.

Elaine continues to play professionally within the local area. Most recently she played along with Dr. Tomasone and Dr. John Robert Cart at Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall, NYC. She has also been heard at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Haddon Heights and St. Bartholomew’s Church in Cherry Hill. She remains available to provide music for special occasions of any kind.

Elaine is proud of her (10) year identical twin girls. Elaine is also very active in both South Jersey Mothers of Multiples (SJMOMS) and once held an Executive Board position with the New Jersey Association of Mothers of Twins Clubs (NJATMC).

I absolutely love this.

Yesterday was the culmination of our almost year-long artist in residency with educator/artist, Gail Scuderi, who worked with students to create new mosaic panels for our campus. At our Celebration of Creativity and Community, we officially unveiled our new mosaic panels with the themes of friendship, light, hope, and growth. Students shared their experiences and gave appreciation to all involved. Thank you to Young Audiences Arts for Learning, New Jersey & Eastern Pennsylvania and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts for the Arts Lab Residency Grant we received. Please be sure to stop and see the beautiful panels when in the neighborhood. ... See MoreSee Less
