Drama

FSMH’s Drama program is on-going throughout the year, with a winter performance in December and a full-scale musical presented at a local theater in May.

The Drama program is open to Middle School students (6th through 8th grade), and those interested in participating rehearse after school. During the rehearsal process, students are introduced to acting and performance techniques through games, improvisation, music, and scene work. Students are encouraged to think of themselves as theater artists and make work that is unique to their particular talents.

We also offer a stage-crew program in which students have the opportunity to design and create sets and props for the productions.

For information about upcoming shows please contact info@friendsmh.org and follow us on Instagram.
