X Day Activities for Fri, May 8

Today is X Day! Today is meant for extra time on assignments, extra help from teachers, and/or extra challenge opportunities to try during Distance Learning! We hope you will take advantage of this “X Day”!

Dealia’s Sign Language Video: Learn signs for “family” words like family, mom, and dad
T. Jason’s STEAM Challenge #6: Build a fort!
Middle School Drama Rehearsal with T. Sophie, T. Kate, T. Dawn, and T. Joanne at 1 pm
T. Brad’s Middle School Book Clubs for The Hunger Games and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
T. Diane’s Middle School Friday Fun, Games, and Gathering
Costa Rica Travelers’ Get-together with T. Sophie and T. Ben
T. Annie’s reading of the infamous Junie B. Jones!
T. Amy’s Time Capsule Drawing Activity
All-School Time Capsule Reflections Activities
T. Yannique’s Zoom Chats: Families will have different log-in times
T. Patti’s Extra Math Extravaganza

T. Patricia’s Directed Drawing Activity for 2nd and 3rd graders
Students will need a black marker or pen/pencil and a sheet of white paper.

T. Kate’s Invitation to Participate in You’ve Got A Friend In Me
Follow the directions to record yourself singing “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” in Flipgrid for a schoolwide music video project. All videos due by May 15.
