Friends School Mullica Hill Adds Two New Board of Trustees Members (Press Release)

Harrison Township, NJ — Friends School Mullica Hill, a Pre-Kindergarten through 8th Grade independent Quaker school in Harrison Township, New Jersey, has announced the addition of two new members to their Board of Trustees. Cori McMahon, Psy.D. and Arley Johnson will join the Board, bringing with them decades of business and leadership experience. “We are excited to have Cori and Arley join our team,” said William Carrigan, clerk of the Board. “They are both well-respected members of our community with strong appreciation for Quaker education and will be assets in helping to guide the future course of the school.”

Cori McMahon, Psy.D.

Cori McMahon, Psy.D. is the Vice-President of Clinical Operations at Tridiuum, Inc. in Wayne, Pennsylvania. She also serves as Director of Behavioral Medicine in the Department of Infectious Disease at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. She currently holds academic positions at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and La Salle University. She received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University. McMahon is a graduate of Friends School Mullica Hill and her son is a current student. “As the parent of a first grader, I appreciate the opportunity to be actively involved in the daily workings of the school while also being able to contribute to longer-term goals and initiatives,” said McMahon.

Arley Johnson

Arley Johnson is Director of Inpatient Therapies at Penn Medicine. He received his Advanced Masters of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy with a concentration in Healthcare Management at Temple University and his Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy at Howard University. Arley is a member of the Howard University Advisory Board and is the former Chairperson of the School District of Philadelphia’s Health Occupational Advisory Board. He is the father of two current Friends School Mullica Hill students and a 2017 graduate. Johnson and his family are members of Mickleton Friends Meeting. “My motivation to join the Board of Trustees is the desire to play a stronger role in a community that has transformed my three children into well-rounded global citizens,” said Johnson.
